The Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University was founded in 1918 and has a long history over 100 years. It was the first AACSB accredited comprehensive university and college. Based on current business trends, Fox School of Business and Management keeps introducing new courses and advanced commercial projects in order to ensure its teaching, courses, admissions policies, and faculty stay at the top. In 2017, the Fox School of Business is ranked 32nd among all the business schools in the United States. The Business Program of the Fox School of Business is ranked 15th, while the Department of International Business is ranked 13th in the United States. The ranking of the Department of Risk, Insurance, Healthcare Management in the United States is ranked 6th.
The Fox School of Business and Management offers a wide range of life support, including career counseling, program planning, and professional student organizations, to ensure its students successfully fit in the workplace after acquiring the knowledge. The Center for Student Professional Development (CSPD), which began in 2017, provides mock interviews, advanced professional skills, and the training of business etiquette. Through the center, 95% of students are successfully employed within three months after graduation.
The Fox Leadership Development Program (FLDP) designed comprehensive activities and programs. It cultivates the agility of students in the workplace, including community participation, global awareness, personal and professional development, and financial literacy. Since 2010, nearly 229 start-up entrepreneurs have graduated from the Fox School of Business and Management. 200 full-time lecturers integrate the real-world experience into their course. In 2009, Fox Business School built ALTER HALL, which has a capital market laboratory, a career development platform, and a startup lab. Apart from a strong faculty lineup, Fox School of Business and Management provides well equipment for faculty and students.
